Meridian Belt Transmission

Echo intercepted a transmission from the Corsairs of the Meridian Belt.

They claim that Starship Gravitation belongs to them.

Their demand is explicit: lower the field, surrender the ship, and leave with our lives.

If we resist, they say we will die and the ship will still be theirs.

They also warn that there will be no jump, no shield, and no escape.

The transmission ends with a final demand to lower the field.

They call this their first warning.

They say there will not be a third.

Gravitation remains on course.

No response has been transmitted.
